Young Barrie Cub Scout Makes a Huge Donation to Youth Haven

We are very thankful for 10 year old, Mason Bailey, for his support to Youth Haven. Mason is a third-year Cub Scout and a member of the 1st Barrie Foresters Cub Scouts.

To earn his third year Cub Scout Award, which is optional, Mason completed a minimum of 15 hours of community service, 10 hours of outdoor skills, and picked a community project. The community project that he chose was Youth Haven.

Mason supported Youth Haven using his fundraising efforts and helped donate food, games and $570 in bus passes for the youth at our shelter.

“I chose Youth Haven because I knew it helped kids,” said Mason. “I feel good about doing this because Youth Haven is a place that helps youth and keeps them safe.”

Congratulations Mason on your well-deserved badge and thank you for choosing to #bethedifference!
