Sylvia Grant and her two children, Judah and Elizabeth, dropped by the Youth Haven to drop off some wonderful donations!

Sylvia is a part of The Garden – Outreach Initiatives, a volunteer-run organization led by members of the North American Christadelphian community that provides outreach initiatives that show compassion to neighbours in the community and provide assistance for their immediate needs.

Sylvia applied for a grant for $250 through the Outreach Program at their Church. She did this because of Youth Haven’s mandate to support youth experiencing homelessness with food, clothing, education, housing and emotional support.

Because of the funding, they were able to donate a number of grocery cards to Youth Haven. We also had the pleasure of giving them a tour of the shelter.
