Our very own Barrie Colts prepared and donated a total of 37,500 meals to those in need in our region since the pandemic hit. Youth Haven was one of the many different community organizations that the Colts helped provide meals for.

“We are incredibly grateful for all that The Barrie Colts have done for us. They stepped up and provided us with amazing support at a time when we needed it most”, said Lucy Growers of Youth Haven.

In addition to the $100,000 that came from the Barrie Colts Community Fund, generous food donations came in from No Frills,  Zehrs Supermarkets, and Scotiabank who helped provide funds to purchase the food. Rockbrune Movers and AMJ Campbell also donated boxes that allowed the meals to be delivered.
