Coldest Night of the Year Raises Almost $40,000 for Youth Haven
The 2018 Coldest Night of the Year took place in Barrie on Saturday, February 24th. 221 walkers (and 72 dedicated volunteers) walked the streets of Downtown Barrie, raising an incredible $37,081 in support of Youth Haven.
Barrie was ranked 40th out of 121 cities in Canada for total funds raised! Check out RMSwanson’s amazing photo gallery of the walk!
We received amazing support from the local community including Mayor Jeff Lehman, MPP Ann Hoggarth, and MP John Brassard.
Congratulations to the FMTU Cold Stethoscopes on being the top team for #CNOY2018!
Congratulations to Laura Vaughan from CSR Walks on being the top individual fundraiser for #CNOY2018!
You can still support Youth Haven with a Donation!
We are grateful for the money that has been raised so far, but we need even more to properly serve Simcoe County youth in need. Our donation portal is still open! Click here to add your much-needed donation and push our #CNOY2018 total even higher!
Thank you again to all of our sponsors, volunteers, walkers and supporters for being part of Coldest Night of the Year 2018!
