Coming face-to-face with lived experience while shopping for Youth Haven.

Thank you to our friends at Peak Powersports Barrie and 1916 Barrie Indian Motorcycle Rider’s Group for once again choosing to #bethedifference in the lives of our youth.

Shout out to Lawrey Body (General Manager – Peak Powersports), Ruther Werner (Activity Director – Peak Powersports), and Todd Savage (President – 1916 Barrie Indian Motorcycle Rider’s Group).

A donation of $1,500 was presented to Youth Haven, as well as numerous gift cards, toiletries, hygiene products, and more for our youth in emergency, transitional, and outreach care.

Todd had a wonderful story to share about why Youth Haven matters. Todd and his wife Cindy were shopping for Youth Haven at a store in Wasaga Beach. They approached the checkout with numerous items, which the clerk commented on. Todd told him the items were for Youth Haven.

“He stopped and looked, and we looked at him, and he told us he had been out of Youth Haven for three months,” said Todd.
“It was one of those gasp moments about making a difference in the community. He thanked us for our ongoing support of Youth Haven.”
