August marked significant progress as milestones were reached in the construction of a New Haven for Youth Haven, built in partnership with the Simcoe County Home Builders’ Association.

Construction crews achieved a major milestone by installing the first piece of siding on the new facility, followed by a full-scale effort to complete the front siding.

The new emergency shelter now has power, thanks to Alectra Utilities and Brian Little’s Electric (BLE). BLE has been serving Barrie, Orillia, Simcoe County, and Muskoka for over 16 years.
