COVID-19 UPDATE

To our community,

At this time, all residents of Youth Haven have moved to a motel for their health and safety and for our staff.

Programs and services will continue to be delivered at the motel. Our staff will be on-site 24 hours a day.

The shelter will remain open for EMERGENCY services only.

If you wish to make a donation, please contact Youth Haven (705-739-7616) WEEKDAYS between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to arrange a time. Donations will be accepted WEEKDAYS between 10 a.m and 6 p.m.

Items we currently can accept are pre-packaged foods including snacks, cleaning supplies such as hand sanitizer/soap, as well as unused board games/puzzles.

Financial donations can still be made online at https://youthhaven.ca/donate-online/.

We thank the County of Simcoe for the assistance in arranging the motel for our youth, the mayor’s office of the City of Barrie for the continued support, and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit for their guidance.

These are challenging times for all of us.

We are grateful to our donors, our volunteers, our community partners and to everyone who has chosen to #BeTheDifference in the lives of our youth. We appreciate your understanding at this time.
