Students from ÉSC Nouvelle-Alliance, dropped off an enormous donation of food and other essentials to Youth Haven on May 27th.

Youth Haven executive director, Lucy Gowers, asked one of the students Mackenzie to share how these donations came to be.

“We had a semester-long religion project; the goal was to find a way to help our community. Our group wanted to find a way to help kids and teens in and around Barrie. That’s when we found Youth Haven. I emailed Nicole to see what was needed most, she said non-perishable food. That’s how we started the food drive at our school.”
