This weekend, Heritage Park will come alive as the Barrie Public Library hosts the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival — a day filled with exciting races, community spirit, and incredible generosity.

We are proud and deeply grateful to share that Powell Jones LLP has chosen Youth Haven as their charity of choice for this year’s event. Their team, the Powell Jones Paddlers, has already reached their fundraising goal before race day even begins. This remarkable achievement shows their dedication not only to the festival, but to the youth we serve every single day.

Every dollar raised by the Powell Jones Paddlers will support our New Build Project — an investment in safety, stability, and brighter futures for youth experiencing homelessness or at risk in Simcoe County. This project will provide a secure place to stay, access to essential supports, and the opportunity to rebuild lives with dignity and hope.
