Simcoe.com’s Chris Simon reports on the soaring costs faced by Youth Haven
Chris Simon of Simcoe.com recently stopped by Youth Haven to speak to one of our residents and learn more about the significant increase in guests that we experienced this year.
Chris spoke with Glen who talked about the importance of Youth Haven to young adults in our community.
“Youth Haven is for youth that have nowhere else to go. I would be looking anywhere else to stay or be on the streets without Youth Haven.”
Executive Director Lucy Gowers was also quoted in the article, noting:
“The city’s homelessness situation is at a point of crisis.”
