Youth Haven continues to #StayStrong 7 months into the pandemic

Our Executive Director, Lucy Gowers, outside the Wellington Street shelter.

As this pandemic continues, Youth Haven continues to #StayStrong because of the generous support from our community.

Thanks to your care, support, and kindness, our youths have brighter futures ahead of them. We can continue to keep our doors open and give support to at-risk youth experiencing homelessness in our communities.

We are truly thankful for each and every one of you for choosing to #BeTheDifference!

We are happy to report that since April 2020, we have housed approximately 70 at-risk youths. 16 youths have moved into permanent housing, 10 have reunited with family, two are continuing their education, and 11 are currently employed.

We could not be more proud of each and every one of them.
